Race Package Pickup
Package pick-up starts Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. The packet will include your ankle RFID timing chip, race number bib. Put on your timing chip and wear your bib number on the run. Ensure that you do not cross a timing mat until your race starts!
Give yourself one-hour minimum prior to your start time to complete pickup, and set your bike up in your transition spot.
You are responsible to ensure that your bike is in proper working order prior to the race. ANSI, SNELL, or CSA-approved helmets are mandatory. You will not be permitted to ride without a helmet. During the race, you must have your helmet buckled before you start the bike and then take it off once your bike is racked. There will be assistance on the bike route for anyone that may require it if their bike fails.
Timing & Rules
- This is a chipped-timed race with online results posted to Zone4 after the race. You will receive your chip when you register. After the race, you must return the chip to a race official or face a $75 fine.
- Absolutely no phones or MP3 players on the course allowed.
- Cyclists on the highway must leave 10m (no drafting zone) except when passing (20 seconds). No riding side by side except when passing. If you are passed, you must drop back 10m.
- No bicycle riding in the transition zone. Buckle your helmet and walk your bike to the mount/dismount line near the road. When returning walk your bike to your rack, rack your bike, and then unbuckle your helmet. Time to run!
Parking
First Things First
Arrive at least one hour before your wave start, proceed to the transition zone, rack your bike and stage your gear under your bike. Large bags should be kept in your vehicle. Proceed to the timing tent to pick up your bib race number and designated ankle timing chip which you wear through the race. It’s also a good idea to walk through the transition zone to familiarize yourself with the race flow.
Relay Team Exchange
Relay team members exchange the ankle timing chip at the bike rack location of the cyclist. Once the relay cyclist receives the ankle timing chip, they may remove their bike from the bike rack and walk the bike (no bike riding) to the mount line. Cyclists must stay at their bikes for the relay exchange but not remove their bikes until they have the timing chip ankle strap secure on their left ankle. The runner will meet their cyclist at the bike racks when they return for the final exchange.
RACE INFO
SWIM

2 Bite S’mores
This race can be great fun for the kids with the proper support of the parents. Please remember:
- There is no prize for first place as all kids will receive a medal at the end.
- The “Two Bite Smores” are all in one heat, but they will not all go in the water at the same time! We will line them up about 10 – 15 at a time and put them into the pool in waves (oldest to youngest). They are welcome to use swim aids except for flippers.
- Parents, please ensure that your child’s bike is in proper working order, even if it has training wheels. Make sure the tires are pumped, the handlebars aren’t loose, the seats are attached and the chain works.
- Helmets and shoes must be worn and done up!
- They may put their shoes on at the edge of the pool, or at their bike, but they must be on and laced up before they get on their bike. Parents are welcome to help their child during transition.
- you are welcome to run along beside your child, and be extra careful if you run backwards to get a picture…you may run over another 2 bite more.
We will enter the pool in waves starting with the oldest first.
