ABOUT THE RACE
The Ironkids FUN RUN offers youth aged 4-17 the unique opportunity to participate on the big weekend. Athletes will run on the trail network around the Historic Cochrane Ranche which serves as the Ironman 70.3 Calgary finish line!
This is not a timed race.
IRONKIDS CATEGORIES
750m Run
- Ages 4-8 years
1.5km Run
- Ages 5 -17 years
REGISTRATION
$10 includes official finisher tech T-Shirt, & Finisher Medal.

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers make the race safe and fun for the kids. Help is needed for course marshalling.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Race Package Pickup: 8:00am – 8:45am at Historic Cochrane Ranche.
Race start is 9:00am!
PARKING
Parking is available in the Historic Cochrane Ranche or neighboring communities.
Washroom Facilities: Dozens of porta potties will be available around the race site.
RUN COURSE
Parents are asked to ensure children are familiar with the run distance and turnaround point(s) for their age group. Volunteers will be on course at turnarounds.
FINISH
- Athletes are awarded their official IronKids finisher medal!
