HEART OF THE ROCKIES FUN RUN

5km & 10km
The Heart of the Rockies events are held in Invermere, BC. The town of Invermere is located at the northern end of Lake Windermere and is a popular destination for Canadian and international tourists.Our 5KM and 10KM fun runs are part of the multisport weekend. Both runs start in conjunction with the run-bike-run Duathlon. Aid stations are available course and food/refreshments await you at the finish line. Awards for the top 3 overall male/female take place at 11:30am. 5Km runners complete one lap, 10Km runners two laps.
5K or 10K Fun Run $45 and $55
Registration includes race timing, awards for top 3 male/female in each race and post-race food-fest.
Starting Line
Runners line up to start with the Duathlon participants. The fun run, duathlon and triathlon events all start at 8:00am sharp!

3:00pm – 5:00pm Race package pickup at Kinsmen Beach park.

7:00am Transition opens, timing chips pickup & park washroom facilities open
8:00am 5km/10km Runs Mass Race Start

*Please note that dogs are NOT allowed in the beach area.

Athletes park at the tennis courts along 4th Ave just north or Kinsmen Beach, Invermere.
