Great White North Try-A-Tri
Hubbles Lake is currently closed due to water quality issues. After consulting with Alberta Health and Parkland County we are unable to find a suitable swim venue for the 2021 triathlon. A bike/run format will be implemented to and from the Heritage Park Pavilion.
Bike start time 7:45am
When you arrive on race morning, park and bring your bike/run gear to the transition zone. Do not rack your bike – keep it with you for the bike start.
The single transition zone will includes racks numbered by groups (i.e. #1-#24, #25-#49, etc). Place your run gear at a position along your rack.
If you wish to warm-up you can enter in-out of parking area (do not wear a timing chip during your warm up).
Pick up your timing chip at the timing tent located by the bike start, then self-seed yourself based on cycling average speed (fastest to slowest).
Technical support will be provided on course but make sure you have the appropriate supplies in case of mechanical issues (replacement inner tube).
After exiting the transition zone you follow our well marked course down 50th St and turn left on 47th Ave to the turn around point. Return for your finish line celebration!
